ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Last revised November 18, 2022

At CAYROS, our primary aim is to assist you and your team in accomplishing your best work every day. To achieve this, it is imperative that our products and services operate smoothly, swiftly, and without disruptions. To ensure this, we rely on cooperation from our users to refrain from misusing or abusing our products and services.

To precisely define what we mean by "misuse" or "abuse" and to facilitate the identification of such transgressions and appropriate responses, we have established this Acceptable Use Policy. Under this policy, we reserve the right to remove content that goes against the principles outlined here, even if it involves actions not explicitly prohibited by the policy itself. In other words, if you engage in behavior that resembles what is described here, even if not identical, we may still take action to remove it.

Throughout this document, you will encounter the term "services" frequently. This term encompasses all websites owned or operated by CAYROS, along with any related websites, sub-domains, and pages, as well as any cloud services administered by CAYROS.

We encourage you to exercise sound judgment and maintain mutual respect, enabling us to continue creating exceptional things. The complete legal details can be found at the end of this document.

Here are the behaviors we will not tolerate:

Disruption

  • Compromising the integrity of our systems, which includes probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network hosting our services.

  • Tampering with, reverse-engineering, or hacking our services, attempting to bypass security or authentication measures, or trying to gain unauthorized access to the services, related systems, networks, or data.

  • Altering, disabling, or jeopardizing the integrity or performance of the services or related systems, networks, or data.

  • Decrypting any transmissions to or from the servers that operate the services.

  • Overloading or attempting to overload our infrastructure by imposing an unreasonably heavy load on our systems, consuming significant resources (CPUs, memory, disk space, bandwidth, etc.), which may include:

    • Using "robots," "spiders," "offline readers," or other automated systems to send more request messages to our servers than a human could reasonably send using a standard web browser.

    • Exceeding the defined usage parameters for any given service, as described in its corresponding documentation.

    • Consuming an excessive amount of storage for data unrelated to the intended purposes of the services.

Wrongful Activities

  • Misrepresenting your identity or concealing the origin of any content, including tactics like "spoofing," "phishing," manipulating headers or other identifiers, impersonating someone else, or falsely suggesting any affiliation with CAYROS or a third party.

  • Utilizing the services to infringe upon the privacy of others, such as publishing or divulging other people's private and confidential information without their explicit consent or collecting personal information (including account names or information) from our services.

  • Employing our services for stalking, harassment, or posting direct, specific threats of violence against others.

  • Using the services for unlawful purposes or in violation of any laws, including but not limited to data, privacy, and export control laws.

  • Accessing or searching any part of the services by means other than our officially supported interfaces (e.g., "scraping").

  • Utilizing meta tags or any other form of "hidden text" that includes CAYROS' or our suppliers' product names or trademarks.

Inappropriate Communications

  • Utilizing the services to generate or transmit unsolicited communications, advertising, chain letters, or spam.

  • Soliciting our users for commercial purposes, unless expressly permitted by CAYROS.

  • Making derogatory comments about CAYROS or our partners, vendors, or affiliates.

  • Promoting or advertising products or services other than your own without proper authorization.

Inappropriate Content

  • Posting, uploading, sharing, submitting, or providing content that:

    • Infringes upon the intellectual property or other rights of CAYROS or a third party, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, moral rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right or contractual right.

    • You do not have the right to submit.

    • Is misleading, fraudulent, illegal, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harmful to minors, pornographic (including child pornography, which we will promptly remove and report to law enforcement, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children), indecent, harassing, hateful.

    • Encourages illegal or tortious behavior or is otherwise inappropriate.

    • Targets individuals based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition.

    • Contains viruses, bots, worms, scripting exploits, or similar materials.

    • Is intended to be inflammatory.

    • Could potentially cause harm to CAYROS or any third party.

In this Acceptable Use Policy, the term “content” encompasses: (1) any information, data, text, software, code, scripts, music, sound, photos, graphics, videos, messages, tags, interactive features, or other materials that you post, upload, share, submit, or provide in any manner to the services, and (2) any other materials, content, or data you provide to CAYROS or use with the Services.

Without prejudice to any other remedies available to us, CAYROS may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend a user's account or access to the services without prior notice or liability if CAYROS (at its sole discretion) determines that a user has violated this Acceptable Use Policy.
